Best Cooking Classes

"Whether you’re clueless in the kitchen or a sautéing savant, there is a hands-on cooking class at Cooking Uptown for you. The classes, which vary in price according to the food used, are taught at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels by experienced chefs including Johnson & Wales grads and sous chefs from several local restaurants. Students are divided into small groups to make one recipe during each two-hour class, and all culinary tools are provided. Upcoming classes include “Homemade Desserts” (May 15) and “Coastal Cooking” (May 22), 1707 E. Seventh St., 704-333-7300."

This category is near and dear to us because hands-on classes has become our core business.

This is our first B.O.B. Award from Charlotte Magazine since 2007.

We have a state-of-the-art kitchen utilized by local professional chefs, to facilitate a wide variety of hands-on participation classes. Our classes provide customers with an opportunity in today's fast paced society to invest a small amount of time, just two hours, to learn something new to impress their friends the next time they entertain. Since our classes are hands-on, we limit them to 12 participants, so that you may receive individual attention from the Chef.
